This is why children are so great…even when something is going wrong they don’t completely understand and they continue to be happy and remind us to enjoy life. The other day at work I checked my phone just before class started and I had multiple text messages from Jim telling me he had run out of gas on the way to dropping Amalea off at daycare. Before you think that Jim is silly for letting the car run out of gas, understand it was not his fault at all. The gas gauge in our van only works sometimes so most of the time you don’t know how much gas you have. Needless to say, we need a new car!! Anyway, one of the text messages was the picture above. Jim and Amalea were having a blast playing in the van waiting for our friend Dustin to come rescue them. I love it, but not enough to give up my want of a new vehicle (with a gas gauge that works).
